Black Beans - Pwa Noir

We all identify black beans with Cuban cuisine,  but they didn’t corner the market as you’ll find out if you try this recipe.

2 cans black beans (2 lbs)
2 cloves garlic
1 tbsp oregano
1 sprig parsley
1 sprig thyme
2 anjocitos, halved
1/3 sliced red onion
¼ tsp butter
adobo
black pepper
1 tsp tomato paste
1 tsp apple cider vinegar
½ chix bouillon cube.
½ packet sazon

In pilon mash garlic and oregano
Add beans to stockpot
Add 2 cups cold water.
Add chicken bouillon cube and sazon..
Add parsley, anjocitos, red onion, butter, pinch of adobo and black pepper.
Add pilon mixture.
Add tomato paste and ac vinegar

Stir and bring to a boil for thirty minutes.
When thick, lower heat to a simmer for an additional 10 minutes.
