2005 Atteca

This collaborative effort between the Juan Gil family in Jumilla and Jorge Ordonez is and old vines stunner.  This 100% garnacha comes from 100 year old vineyards and boasts a pleasant mix of berries, hints of chocolate and peppery spices.  This wine fills the cheeks, but is not overpowering.  Try this with bacon dishes such as jamon serrano wrapped dates. This wine is a crowd pleaser.
