2001 Monte Real Reserva

An old world classic style of Rioja which is just coming into maturity, composed of classic cherry flavors, rounded tannins and elegant structure. These wines act as the red burgundies of France, full of class and terroir. I’ve enjoyed this wine many ways, whether it be with roast quail, tender filet mignon, or alone over a cool sunset with dear friends.

ROOSTER SCORE: 90
