This wine has been blowing up the press with hyper impressive scores, but for my palate, it is just too early to tell how well this wine will take shape. Make no mistake that this is a fruit bomb, in true rocket ship style. Only the heaviest of meals can be paired with its flavor structure and components. On one occasion I left it open for three days and it still could have used time in the bottle. Be certain that this is a monastrell to be reckoned with, staking its claim among the powerhouse new world wines that are out there. Cellar it and check it again in ten years.
